Returns & Exchanges (USA)

This policy applies to orders delivered to the United States.

30-day returns

You can return items within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Return shipping is at your expense.

Size exchanges

If the size isn't right, we will exchange your shoes for a different size within 30 days of delivery, subject to availability. Return shipping is at your expense. We cover shipping for the new size, as well as the US duties and import taxes on the new size. If your size is not available, you can return the shoes instead.

Condition of returned items

You are welcome to try your shoes on at home, just as you would in a store, ideally on a carpet or another soft surface. To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must show no signs of use and be in their original condition, with the original packaging (shoe box and shoe bag). The leather care kit can be returned unopened. We cannot accept returns or exchanges of items that show signs of use.

How to start a return or exchange

1. Email us at support@octavianoshoes.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and, for an exchange, the size you need.
2. We will send you the return address and the details you need for the customs paperwork. Please mark the package as "returned goods".
3. Pack the items securely and send them with tracking to: Luca Octavio Schmiel Gamarra, trading as Octaviano Shoes, Wallotstraße 18, 01309 Dresden, Germany.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will refund the price of the returned items to your original payment method within 14 days. Only the price of the goods is refunded. Original shipping costs and the duties and import taxes paid at checkout are not refundable, as they have been passed on to the carrier and customs authorities.

Made-to-measure items

Made-to-measure shoes and belts are made individually for you. They cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective. The fit guarantee described on the product page is not affected.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or incorrect, email us with photos at support@octavianoshoes.com. In that case we cover the return shipping and will send you a replacement or refund the full amount, including shipping.
